Chilli Jam Vans is recruiting for a junior camper conversion fitter position in West Cornwall.

We are a bespoke campervan conversion and van modification specialist based in Hayle. We pride ourselves on high quality, tailor made campervans and modifications that are individually built to meet our customers’ requirements.

We are looking for someone ideally with some experience of building campervan conversions but personality, attitude and good work ethic are more important than experience, as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be a multitasker who is capable / willing of taking on all aspects of building a top end camper. Tasks include carpeting, insulating, assisting in pop top roof fitting, building camper furniture, carpentry and installing bed seats. Experience in auto electrics and mechanics is a big plus. Some occasional admin work to cover holidays may also be required.

You like to work as a part of a small team but also enjoy working on your own. You can think on your feet, have a good eye for detail, have great problem solving skills, are flexible and friendly providing our customers excellent knowledge and service.

This role could be on a part-time or full time basis.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience. We also offer a pension scheme, 4 weeks of holiday + Bank Holidays with a chance to accrue extra holiday annually, opportunity to work extra hours on Saturdays and a fantastic chance to live and work in one of the best parts of the country.
