Return To ShopVW T5 and T6 Comfort coilover kit offer amazing ride quality
The first customer in the UK to fit the new comfort coilover kit to his Volkswagen Transporter T6 has described the suspension parts as ‘amazing’.
The Twin-Adjust-Projekt-Sensitiv kit developed to give VW Transporter owners a whole new level of comfort using suspension brands Eibach and Koni, have also been described as an evolution from the popular Bilstein B14s.
Mark Chell, who has owned several Transporters in his life, said: “First of all the quality of the kit is very good. The guys who fitted them said of all the types of coil overs they fit these looked and felt good quality and were easy to fit.
“The ride quality of the van now is amazing. The van sits level now and not too low. The cornering is flatter with little body roll but the comfort over standard suspension is much nicer. The ride is firmer but not at the expense of the comfort.
“All in all a much better quality ride that looks much better but is also comfortable. It looks like a totally different van and drives like one too.
“I can totally recommend it to anyone. I’ve had a few transporters over the years and this kit is by far the most practical one so far for lowering and comfort.”
Launched under brand name Twin-Adjust-Projekt-Sensitiv, the coilover kit offers a lowering range between 400mm and 700mm and offers unrivalled comfort, adjustability and quality due to the pre mechanical rebound adjustment from the Koni dampers while maintaining a sporty and improved ride performance.
The Koni dampers can be individually pre adjusted prior to fitting to achieve the desired set-up, however offer the most comfortable set up on the base setting out the box.
The Eibach springs were developed by Eibach especially for Twin-Monotube-Projekt coilover kits. They provide a sporty ride with further reduction in body roll and pitch. This was achieved by the experienced engineers at spring specialist Eibach Germany.
Other important aspects are durability, long term stability without spring sag and fracture strength which are substantiated with a two year Eibach springs warranty and two year Koni damper warranty. This setup is also TUV approaved.
The Twin-Adjust-Projekt-Sensitiv comfort coilovers are available for both the T26-T30 and T32 front strut fitment.
